Therefore, the key to improving the productivity of the filter press lies in how to optimize the feeding.


In coal preparation plant, filter press is the last equipment of slurry water treatment. It is necessary to ensure that all the slurry is recovered. Diaphragm filter press used to treat flotation concentrate and slurry has the characteristics of barrier extrusion and high pressure flow through.


Because of its low moisture content of filter cake, filter press can complete automatic intermittent operation. It has been widely used in the fields of mine feeding anti-seepage membrane, light industry, chemical industry and so on. Most of the single pump feeding filters use single pump feeding, that is, according to the flow and head of the feed pump required by the filter press, select large flow and high lift pumps. The advantages are simple structure, convenient construction and low investment.


Together, the single pump feeding method also has its shortcomings. In the initial stage of feeding, great medium resistance will occur. As the feeding proceeds, the resistance will become larger and larger, and the feeding pressure of the corresponding pump will also increase, which will cause the cake layer formed on the surface of the filter cloth to be destroyed, increase the filtered coal, and form filtrate water pollution.
