Auto dosing all-in-one filtering system
I.Introduction
Our company can provide the corresponding sludge deep dewatering technology route based on the final disposal result of sludge, including providing system services such as design, manufacture and commissioning of sludge deep dewatering system. The high-pressure membrane dewatering technology can not only dewater the sludge with a water content of 80% (processed by the belt filter) to a moisture content of 60% or less, or replace the belt filter with a concentration of 92-98%. The sludge is directly removed to a moisture content of less than 60%. The filter cake after deep dewatering can be directly landfilled, incinerated, compost, brick and cement.
Pre-treatment
Pre-treatment of the slurries before filtration is required if the solid suspension has settled down. Coagulation as pre-treatment can improve the performance of filter press because it increases the porosity of the filter cake leading to faster filtration. Varying the temperature, concentration and pH can control the size of the flocs. Moreover, if the filter cake is impermeable and difficult for the flow of filtrate, filter aid chemical can be added to the pre-treatment process to increase the porosity of the cake, reduce the cake resistance and obtain thicker cake. However, filter aids need to be able to remove from the filter cake either by physical or chemical treatment. A common filter aid is Kieselguhr, which give 0.85 voidage.
In terms of cake handling, batch filter press requires large discharge tray size in order to contain large amount of cake and the system is more expensive compared to continuous filter press with the same output.
